SUTD has been heavily involved in the Founders’ Memorial Committee’s Phase 2 engagement with the public from September 2016 to February 2017. The committee was led by Chairman of SUTD’s Board of Trustees, Mr Lee Tzu Yang. IDC Co-Director, Professor Kristin Wood has worked together with him to develop the methods to engage public using Design Innovation methods and techniques to solicit ideas and response about the memorial from the public. Professor Kristin Wood has led his IDC Design Innovation Team and Codomo (start-up by our alumni students),  to be part of the engagement sessions on a goodwill basis for this national project.

On top of the Phase 2 engagement, Codomo is being engaged by MCCY, the Founders’ Memorial Committee Secretariat, to train guides for the tours that are happening at the showcase.

Codomo was also mentioned in a Straits Times article reporting on the opening of the showcase on 13 March 2017, Monday. Please find the article in this link: http://www.straitstimes.com/singapore/feedback-sought-on-founders-memorial-with-new-showcase-starting-at-gardens-by-the-bay. Jia Xuan(ASD alumni) appeared on the news on Channel News Asia and Channel 8 news.

SUTD is also mentioned in one of the panels in the showcase and this is a great opportunity for everyone to know about SUTD and the contribution by Codomo and the IDC team in this national project.
